Ever notice how when you save a page or site in your favorites folder,
you go back to check it out and realize you have this huge lists of "untitled" pages??
Here is a way to prevent that. But keep in mind that not all sites have a title to them.
When you are on a page or at a site you want to save, and you don't see a title in the status bar, do this:
Reload the page by holding down your CMD button, & hit the R key 5-7 times.
Usually a name will appear in the starus bar, and the reason you didn't see this before is because of that nasty web tv bug. When the name appears, go ahead and save it in your favs folder, and it won't be listed as "untitled".
Now, sometimes you have to reload 2-3 times before you see the title in the status bar. But if you still don't see the title, then chances are there isn't one, and you will have to go and rename it yourself.
I hope this helps you all as much as it has me. It makes it sooooo much
easier to find things without having to go through and rename them.

Ever wonder how to get that image you see when you save a webpage in your favorites or you click on the info key?
This will tell to how to do it with your own web page! It`s called a logo. It`s usually done using an image that is approximately 90x90 but the larger the image is, it tends to distort squeezing into that small box.lol
The image I chose to use for the purpose of this Help Tip, is 70x70 and 2kb in file size
http://www.html46.com/HAW/image/ani_help2.gif
This goes in the body code or tag! Here is what the code will look like:
Our new Help Tip web page uses this logo, and if you click on this URL, then click on your info key, you will see the logo displayed. http://www.html46.com/HAW/Help-Tips.html

When copying a large amount of text, hold down the 'shift key' and use the 'up or down arrow' to start highlighting it. Then switch from the 'arrow' to the 'scroll key'. This will highlight the text to copy much faster than doing it line by line.

When you go to address an e-mail message, click onto TO, then type a couple of the letters that the name begins with, and it will automatically go there. Beats scrolling clear down to get to the T's!!

When you take a graphic to Image Magick to be annotated, there are a couple of things you can do to make the lettering really stand out. You can put a different color in the "Stroke Color" box. This will outline
the letters and make them more easily legible. Make sure that the number in the "Stroke Width" box is "1", unless you REALLY want it to stand out. If you want the letters really thiick, put the color you have chosen in the "Stroke Color" box ONLY. Then put a "3" or "4"in the
"Stroke Width" box. Your letters will be VERY thick. Have fun~Nan

If you would like a shorter URL for your page, make a new Directory in your File Manager's "Root" (Main) Directory. Name it what you want your page to be called. Then name your page "index.html". Put it into that Directory. For example:
I wanted my tool page called tweetystools. So I made a new Directory, named it "tweetystools".
Renamed my tool page
"index.html", and put it into that Directory. So it ends up:
http://www.wtv-zone.com/quinboy/tweetystools/

If the person you are sending an email to, is on Webtv, all you have to type for the addy is their name. You don't have to add @webtv.net. You wouldn't believe how long I had been typing the whole thing before I found that out.hehe

Fading an image at Image Magick:
Enter the URL of your image.
Click 'view'
Click 'Enhance' on the top bar.
In the box put a number between 1 to 10. 1 being the least faded, and 10 being the most faded.
Check 'gamma'
Click 'enhance'
View your image on the view screen and hit 'back' button if you want to change the number.
When you are satisfied, click 'output' on the top bar. Check whether you want gif or jpg.
Then output.
Click on your image, and transload

I use this code ALL the time. But, let me suggest first that when you use this, make sure your sent mail and discarded mail folders are empty first, since they take up alot of space in the cache.
Also, if you changed your dial up settings, everytime you use this code, you will have to go back and change it again. This code puts your settings back to default.
Ok, first, empty sent and discard folders. Turn off your lbb (little black box). Make sure it is off completely.
Hit 32768.
The little lights on the front of your box should all blink. Wait for it to stop, then you can log back on. (If the lights don't blink, turn your box on for a second, shut it off and try the code again.)
Remember to go back and reset your dial up settings if you had done so before.
Also remember, once you go in and change your settings, the change doesn't take affect until the next time you sign on. So what I do is, hit my option button, hit "hang up". When the little green line in the status bar turns red, then I hit "reconnect". But, make sure once you are reconnected you hit the option bar and moce your cursor OFF of hang up, or everytime you go to use the "goto" on the option bar, if your not really paying attention, you will keep "hanging up", LOL

Have you ever wondered how some web pages slide in from the left, right, top,or bottom when the page opens? This is called transition! It goes right in your BODY code or tag usually right after the link= and the vlink= section!
Example:
Below are 14 examples of transitions! Note:these only work with msntv and on webpages, not in e-mail!
