Any Warnings to members Let the List Moderators handle this; it's part of our function with this list! Writing and editing email to the list Please edit your replies. Quoting too much of the email that you are replying to can hinder communication. With Yahoo`s newest policy change, attached url`s will not be in that post when it reaches the group Archives! There are many members who rely on our Archives for missed messages, or because they are on no mail. For this reason, we ask you to please include the page or image URL in the body of your post. PC and those who use external mail host such as Yahoo, please be sure not to include the entire Digest. Stay on-topic as much as possible (this does not mean NO off-topic emails, but try and keep those to a minimum). When you make inquires on this list, please expect to look for the response on the list. Please do not ask for private responses, as this is a webtv help list, and responses are sent to the list for the benefit of all, and you will miss important alternate answers if you do not look on-list. Here are more details on the Help_at_Webtv guidelines: On "Help", we understand that we all have things that we feel very strongly about, as well as our own "hot buttons." If the discussion gets heated, please try to avoid flaming (personal abusive attacks intended to incite, degrade, make fun of another person or their ideas with no positive outcome). Additionally, flaming of moderators, either on or off list for their actions on the list, is not permitted. Spamming is not allowed. SPAM is loosely defined here as sending unsolicited e-mail -- either commercial or advertising other lists, etc. It is also in violation of Yahoogroups own policies. Decisions by the list moderators are final and abiding. If any of the list moderators tell you to drop a topic, please do so. List announcements are not allowed on this list. Unless approved by the list owner. Any problems which deal specifically with "Help" should be sent to the List Moderators only, at: Help_At_Webtv-owner@yahoogroups.com Some examples of this would be: Spam you received offlist which you feel originated by a Help member problems getting your emails to go through to Help; offlist flaming by a member of Help_At_Webtv, etc. Some additional information that might be useful to you Off Topic Post We have Sat & Sun for off topic subjects but the rest of the week is ok for O/T also, keeping in mind that we do try to be a help group! Examples of things to post An Image site, things you make, your pages if you have pages.. a tool site, mid site, things that help others with learning, A hello or thank you, any answers or questions... an image now and then.. We are not strict about this, we expect our members to be responsible and post things within reason! Examples of things NOT to post Invitations to other e-groups, (until approved by the owner) No Porn sites or adult pic`s, No real adult jokes or cartoons.. We have a few members that let their children read the post. Bottom line.. if in doubt, just ask a moderator or the owner! Unsubscribing from this list. All list members of this list subscribed themselves and are expected to do their best to unsubscribe themselves. The Unsubscribe directions are included at the bottom of every list message and the top of every Digest message. If you have any problems getting unsubscribed from the list, please contact the List Moderators, by writing to Help_At_Webtv-owner@yahoogroups.com and one of us will assist you, but you must try to do it yourself FIRST. The method to unsubscribe is quite simple.
